a. Each and every one within the group must now check and verify that they are brethren belonging to Grand Lodges which are fully recognized by the Grand Lodge of Scotland. 

b. Each one of us must be prepared to take our place at the wheel, if the lodge should get going. It may mean affiliating to the grand Lodge of Scotland and preparing to be proper Scottish candidates. We also must understand that we will be required to travel as often as possible to ensure that the lodge is fully attended, no matter where the venue. I also implore each of you to seek out brothers as recruits who would enhance the lodge in general. I would like for us to therefore, nominate a general steering committee. This committee will be required to correspond and have a two fold agenda. 

1. To discuss and prepare a draught of the constitution for such a lodge.

2. To investigate all matters and present a direction plan, and to keep all brethren informed of our direction and progress.

As this Lodge will be representative of the world, I would like to propose that the committee be formed from all nations. However, the Chairperson and his deputy need to be from the Scottish Constitution as they are and will be the true founders of such a lodge in terms of Office bearers.

I, therefore, would like to have volunteers. Yes, I fully appreciate the enormous task, but this is the first step on the way forward. I will continue in my present role until the Committee is formed, and then, I will allow the committee to govern. In the words of a so called statesman called J---- A----, " I have not gone away you know."

Now when I have a moment, and I have got a connection, I would like to say I am a member of our sister Group Masoniclight owned and moderated by a member of this group Brother Josh Heller. That group has now grown to become a very able discussion group, but because of its size the volume of posts are huge and the threads of debate are fast and furious. It seems impossible to follow a single thread. So I now wish to propose that this group should be a discussion group mainly about Rosslyn. I know and appreciate the number of Posts received about this subject, so OK, we will try it. Brother Josh, I intend that all postings be made available to Masoniclight as well. I am not sure how I will set that up, but if necessary, cut and paste.

Daughter Lodges under GLOS have permission to give the Mark Masters Degree. Usually by going 1st, 2^nd , 3^rd, back down to the 2^nd, then across to the Mark. To give the MMM degree you would also have to gain agreement with Supreme Grand Royal Arch of Scotland. This could cause slowdown of your formation, as it would have to be referred to a separate body outside GLOS. The downside to doing this would be another ritual, more office bearers needed, dies for pennies etc. The upside would be to give the story relating to the Keystone, which is probably very relevant to Rosslyn Chapel.
